LCHS graduates joining a college or university sports team
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

The largest award on the LPSD list: $2,000 in first year, funded by the Hartnell/MacArthur Golf Charity Classic, with a separate $1,000 continuing award in year two. You must be full time and actually playing on a college or university team, and the application letter has to describe both the program and your involvement with the team. It asks for a commitment to elite sport rather than to participation.

One form covers every LPSD award. You complete the General LPSD Scholarship Application in the Google Classroom, code an2eroz, by May 1, and tick this award on the LCHS organizer sheet rather than applying to the sponsor.

HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before May 1, 2027.
