LCHS graduates entering education with an English major or an English-centred career
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
One $2,000 award, tied for the largest single payment on the LPSD list, established by John Kemp in honour of J. G. Willard, the pioneer editor of the Lloydminster Times, and his concern for the correct use of English. It is for a graduate entering a teacher education program with an English major, or another program in which English is a major component, which is wider than it first reads.
One form covers every LPSD award. You complete the General LPSD Scholarship Application in the Google Classroom, code an2eroz, by May 1, and tick this award on the LCHS organizer sheet rather than applying to the sponsor.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before May 1, 2027.
