ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
CUPE Local 709 offers two $2,500 scholarships for children of current or retired members in good standing. Grade 12 students planning university, college or technical study in Alberta can apply. Selection uses a written essay and proof of admission to further education.
Write about 750 words on a listed union topic and attach the application. Acceptance proof is required before payment. Dates for the new cycle were not posted when checked; this is last cycle's date carried forward, confirm before planning around it.
