Worth knowing
You must live with a disability and be a current student or applicant at an Alberta post-secondary school, taking at least two courses a term toward a diploma or degree. The committee looks for a real record of volunteering or disability advocacy, so describe it in your one-page personal letter. Complete the online form and email a character reference, an academic reference, the personal letter, a certified transcript and confirmation of your diagnosis from a healthcare provider to Scholarships@easterseals.ab.ca by June 30 at midnight. The money can only go to tuition, books, technology and other school costs.
