Brent Gawne Memorial Scholarship

Two AUPE awards for students already in post-secondary study, the twin of the high school scholarship the union runs alongside it.

Set up at the union’s 2004 convention to raise awareness of the privatization of public services, which is the subject the essay circles. It is the post-secondary half of the pair, so a graduate applying in the summer before first year should check with the education sub-committee which stream they fall into. Same July cutoff and the same formal essay rules.
