ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
One award of $200 for a grade 12 music student at Bev Facey who shows outstanding leadership, commitment, performance and technical skill along with creativity. A school staff committee selects the recipient.
The criteria name five things and only two of them are about playing well. Leadership and commitment inside the music programme carry as much weight as your technique. Bev Facey runs one online form for every in-house award: you tick the ones you qualify for and attach a written or video submission saying why. A staff committee decides. The 2026 form closed April 7 and opened on March 16, so watch for it in mid-March.
