ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A free registration in one of the Art Society of Strathcona's workshops, plus a $50 gift card for art supplies, for a grade 12 student who took Art to the 30 level.
Art 30 on the transcript is the only gate. It is a small award in dollars but it puts a student into a room of working artists in the county, which is worth more than the fifty dollars. Bev Facey runs one online form for every in-house award: you tick the ones you qualify for and attach a written or video submission saying why. A staff committee decides. The 2026 form closed April 7 and opened on March 16, so watch for it in mid-March.
