Worth knowing
Every graduating county student is told about it and applies through their high school with a written application and reference letters. Town and village residents do not qualify. The money is paid once you are attending full-time. Home-schooled graduates have a separate $1,000 award, applied for through the county's forms page by August 31. The program includes graduates of the four named schools and home-schooled graduates living in Clearwater County.
About this scholarship
Clearwater County gives a $1,000 scholarship to one graduating student at each of West Central, St. Dominic, David Thompson and Caroline high schools. Recipients must be county residents who show citizenship through school and community volunteering.
