Worth knowing
Fill in the co-op's online application form, which must be signed by you and the co-op member, then email it with your supporting documents to scholarships@chainlakes.ca by October 1. Include two reference letters from teachers, employers, coaches or ministers who are not relatives and a 500 word essay about yourself and your goals. You must be accepted into or attending a full-time degree, diploma, certificate or apprenticeship program at an accredited Alberta institution, and the membership must be at least a year old and in good standing. Winners are announced by November 1 and can only win once.
About this scholarship
Chain Lakes Gas Co-op awards two $1,500 scholarships a year to active members or the children of active members heading to an Alberta college, university or apprenticeship.
