Worth knowing

Your local agricultural society nominates you, and you or a parent must belong to it. You also volunteer with the society and your community and write two short essays. The money is paid after you finish your first term, so first-year students can apply. Official transcripts are required.

About this scholarship

The Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies aims to give six $500 scholarships each year to students nominated by a local agricultural society.
