Worth knowing

The member must belong to a CUPE local affiliated with the Alberta Division, and the application goes through that local with a letter of endorsement. Write an essay of up to 1,000 words on a topic such as why unions matter or youth involvement in unions. Winners show proof of registration at a post-secondary school. The deadline is September 1 every year and past winners cannot apply again.
