Students starting a heavy machinery program within the next year can apply, so Grade 12 students qualify. Send a 500 word essay or a two minute video about what excites you about the heavy equipment industry. The 2026 deadline was March 31.

About this scholarship

Boom & Bucket gives a $1,000 scholarship each year to a student in a heavy equipment or heavy machinery program at a college or trade school.
