ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Established by the Newell County Band Association in memory of Ashton Moen, a member of the Brooks Composite High School band department, to keep her memory alive in the program she belonged to. The association names kindness and selflessness as the qualities she was known for and as what the award is meant to recognise, so band membership is the eligibility and character is the criterion.
The handbook publishes no closing date for this award. Applications are collected by Brooks Composite High School rather than by the sponsor, and the form itself is a Google Doc only Grasslands students can open, so the date you need is the one the school sets. Ask the BCHS office in the fall.
