ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The fine arts half of the money the 1989 Alberta Summer Games left in Brooks. It is made available annually to a Brooks Composite High School graduate planning to attend a post-secondary institution in the fine or performing arts. Like its athletics twin it turns on what you are going to study rather than on a portfolio or an audition, so acceptance into an arts program is the thing that qualifies you.
The handbook publishes no closing date for this award. Applications are collected by Brooks Composite High School rather than by the sponsor, and the form itself is a Google Doc only Grasslands students can open, so the date you need is the one the school sets. Ask the BCHS office in the fall.
