LCHS graduates entering university, college or technical school
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Four awards of $500 with no field of study attached, judged on personal initiative and on attributes like tolerance and compassion rather than on marks. Two things make it unusually reachable: preference goes to graduates who have won fewer local scholarships, and a classmate or teacher can nominate you by letter even if you do not apply yourself. A student who delayed post-secondary by a year after graduating is also eligible.
One form covers every LPSD award. You complete the General LPSD Scholarship Application in the Google Classroom, code an2eroz, by May 1, and tick this award on the LCHS organizer sheet rather than applying to the sponsor.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before May 1, 2027.
