Woodlands County Apprenticeship Bursary
Up to $1,500 for a first year of apprenticeship training and $1,500 for a second, $3,000 in total, for apprentices from Woodlands County.
Applications are taken all year rather than on one closing date. You need proof of enrolment in a provincially recognised apprenticeship program and two reference letters, and you must pass the classroom portion before the money is released against an official transcript. There is no age limit, you can only receive it once, and you have to declare that you are not drawing wages or a subsidy from an employer while you are at school. Residency works the same as the county post-secondary bursary.
