Worth knowing

You or a parent or guardian must be a Wild Rose member in good standing. Mail the form with an essay on why you should win, an official Alberta transcript and two reference letters from teachers, 4-H leaders, employers, ministers or coaches to the Westlock office by March 31. Winners are picked on their top five Grade 12 marks, the essay and the references, and must accept the award at the next annual meeting.

Wild Rose REA, the member-owned power co-op around Westlock, gives scholarships each year to members and their children going on to further education.
