Worth knowing

Read the academic bar carefully, because it is written twice. Entering students need an 80 percent average, while students already in a program need a 3.0 GPA. The 80% threshold applies to entering students, and the 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA threshold applies to active post-secondary students. Utility Safety Partners is the organization formerly called Alberta One-Call, the people behind Click Before You Dig, and they want a letter of recommendation plus evidence you care about safety through work, coursework or volunteering. Only two are given each year and the applications run through the ScholarTree platform, not their own site.
