Worth knowing

Submit the Faculty of Mathematics Olympiad Scholarship application by March 5, 2027. The faculty identifies IMO, IOI, EGMO and EGOI medals as eligible. The central entrance awards page publishes the 2027 deadline, while the faculty page still shows the prior cycle. Renewal after the first year requires an 80% average and full-time enrolment.

About this scholarship

This scholarship provides up to $50,000 over eight terms for students entering Waterloo's Faculty of Mathematics with an international mathematics or informatics Olympiad medal. Selection considers the medal, the Admission Information Form and Waterloo mathematics contest results.
