Worth knowing
Swan City is Grande Prairie's old nickname, which is why this club and the Swan City Breakfast Lions do not have the city's name in theirs. Service Above Self is the Rotary motto and it is the criterion.
How the Northwestern Alberta Foundation form works
One universal application covers every fund the Northwestern Alberta Foundation holds, so there is nothing separate to file. The foundation publishes the fund names but keeps each fund's value and criteria inside the portal, which shows what you qualify for once you submit.
19 awards listed here go through it.
About this scholarship
The Swan City Rotary Club's student award endowment, run through the Northwestern Alberta Foundation, not through the club directly. Applicants must have resided in the Peace Country for a minimum of two years.
