Worth knowing
You must live in Alberta, live with a disability and be enrolled or planning to enroll in an Alberta college, university, vocational or trades program. Fill in the Easter Seals online form and email a one-page letter about your goals, effort, activities, challenges and financial need, a recent photo, confirmation of your diagnosis from a healthcare provider and proof of fall enrolment to Scholarships@easterseals.ab.ca. Applications open March 1 and close June 30 at midnight. The winner is also matched with a volunteer mentor to help prepare for work.
About this scholarship
Easter Seals Alberta and Sun Life give one $2,000 scholarship a year to an Alberta student with a disability who is moving into post-secondary or trades training.
