Sheet metal apprentices employed by SMACNA-AB member companies

About this scholarship

The Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Alberta awarded eight $1,000 scholarships in 2026 to sheet metal apprentices of any year who work for a member company in good standing, have passed all provincial requirements in their Alberta apprenticeship training, and attended an intake in the past year.

Worth knowing

Your employer applies for you, by mail or email, with a letter of recommendation and your apprenticeship transcript. The 2026 intake closed May 15, 2026; the 2027 date here is rolled forward.
