County of Grande Prairie residents studying business, commerce or public office administration
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

A $1,000 scholarship for current or former residents of the County of Grande Prairie who are Canadian citizens or landed immigrants and are entering or enrolled at an Alberta post-secondary institution in business, commerce or public office administration. Applications go through the Northwestern Alberta Foundation portal.

Named for a longtime County administrator, and the residency test is the County of Grande Prairie rather than the City, so a student inside city limits does not qualify on their own address. Your parents' County residence counts if you have moved away for school. County council handed administration to the Northwestern Alberta Foundation in 2024, so it now runs on the foundation's universal application and its August deadline, shown here rolled forward.
