🏅 Perky McCullough International Excellence Scholarship

Two scholarships of $2,500 a year from the City of Grande Prairie for athletes who are or have been part of the Grande Prairie Sport Development System and show the best potential for international success. The application asks for letters of support from a coach or mentor, confirmation of national sport association membership, a goal statement covering short and long term objectives, and disclosure of other funding and sponsorships.

The bar is real: this is for athletes with a credible path to international competition, and you need confirmation of membership in a national sport association to apply. Two awards a year. One catch that disqualifies people every cycle is that an application submitted after the event has already happened is not eligible, so apply ahead of the competition you are funding.
