ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A science prize endowed by two Grasslands graduates, Dr. Kenton Rommens and Dr. Ashley Rommens, in memory of their grandfather Robert "Bud" Trimmer Sr. It is open to graduates of Grasslands Public Schools. The handbook does not print an amount or a set of scored criteria for it, which is normal for a family-funded prize of this kind; the selection sits with the school and the donors.
The handbook publishes no closing date for this award. Applications go through your Grasslands school rather than to the sponsor, and the form is a Google Doc only Grasslands students can open, so ask your school office in the fall for the date it is collecting by.
