ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
One $600 award for the student who has shown the greatest improvement in cosmetology, judged on effort and conduct, and the criteria state plainly that the recipient does not have to have the highest mark. Preference goes to a student continuing in cosmetology. Improvement awards are rare, and this is the only one in the handbook.
Every award in the handbook is decided from a single ECCHS Awards Application, and the school says outright that a student may submit only one. The cutoff is a dated one rather than a repeating day, and the 2026 round closed on Monday, June 22, so ask student services for the current date.
