Peace River Agricultural Society Bursary

Three $500 bursaries a year from the Peace River Agricultural Society for young people in the Peace Country taking an educational course or pursuing sport, with agriculture given priority.

Three intake dates each year: March 30, July 31 and November 30. You must be 25 or younger on the date you apply and live in the Peace Country, which the society defines as Grande Prairie, the County of Grande Prairie No. 1, Peace River, the MD of Peace, the MD of Greenview, the MD of Northern Lights, Clear Hills County, Saddle Hills County, Grimshaw or the MD of Smoky River. Agriculture-focused courses get priority. Winners complete at least 50 volunteer hours with an approved agricultural non-profit before the money is paid out. Send a one page letter with proof of registration and your costs.
