About this program

The world's oldest international schools writing competition, run since 1883. Write up to 1,000 words on the year's theme; one winner is chosen from each Commonwealth region, including the Americas, and every entrant receives a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Participation certificate. The 2026 deadline was April 30.
