ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Two awards of $3,000 for students entering full-time studies at Red Deer Polytechnic who graduated from Confluence Campus in Rocky Mountain House, meaning West Central High School or St. Dominic High School, with preference for mature students.
Red Deer Polytechnic runs one General Application that closes May 31 and puts you in the running for every award you qualify for, so this is one box on a form rather than a separate submission. Despite being a polytechnic award it is closed to students from Red Deer itself, and mature students aged 22 and over get preference. At $3,000 drawn from a pool of two small-town schools, the odds here are far better than on any open entrance award.
