How the ECCHS Awards Application works

One ECCHS Awards Application decides every award in the school's handbook, and you may submit only one. The 2026 round closed Monday, June 22. Ask student services for this year's date.

About this scholarship

A fund of $10,000 divided among ten to twenty students, so roughly $500 to $1,000 each, and by far the widest pool at the school. Consideration goes to students who are not receiving other awards. It looks for a strong work ethic in reaching the grades needed for entry to any post-secondary program, trade schools included, with preference for engineering, especially petroleum engineering at the University of Alberta, and for music, plus extra weight for applicants who would benefit from help overcoming personal circumstances.
