About this scholarship
One $500 award for a student graduating from high school this calendar year and going on to an accredited post-secondary institution, who lives within MADD Red Deer & District boundaries and was severely injured, or had a parent, guardian or sibling killed or severely injured, in an impaired driving crash. Students who have been active advocates against impaired driving, such as founding or belonging for two years to a SADD chapter, can also apply.
Worth knowing
The application form does not give a date, so ask MADD Red Deer & District or your counsellor for the current one. Proof of the injury and its link to an impaired driving crash is required, and advocacy applicants need written confirmation from a counsellor and from administration or another credible source.
