Central Alberta Co-op Scholarship
Central Alberta Co-op awards ten $1,000 scholarships each year to Grade 12 and mature students heading to post-secondary. There is no restriction on your field of study or which institution you attend. The applicant or an immediate family member must have been a Central Alberta Co-op member for at least one year with more than $2,500 in purchases over the past year, and must live in the co-op's trading area. The application asks for transcripts, two community reference letters, one education reference letter, proof of acceptance, and a 200 to 500 word essay on what the co-op means to you.
The co-op states a fixed April 1 to April 30 window every year, so the dates here are that window rather than a guess. The membership test is on the household, not on you: a parent counts. Applications run through the Do Some Good platform, which needs its own account.
