Fort McMurray Public School District graduates in financial need
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
One award of $3,000 for a graduating student of the Fort McMurray Public School District continuing into an accredited Canadian programme, with financial need as the central criterion. If no district student applies, it opens to any student in a Canadian post-secondary programme.
At $3,000 this is the biggest thing the public district hands out, and financial need rather than marks is what it turns on. Applications go to student services in March and to the district office in April.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before June 1, 2027.
