Worth knowing

The LCHS awards program is for that year's graduates, and where no current graduate applies the school may consider graduates of earlier years. Grade 10 and 11 applicants need 35 credits earned at LCHS, and grade 12 applicants need 20. The school also says payment is at the sponsor's discretion. The valedictorian must take the entire grade 12 year at LCHS with at least 25 credits and no courses through another school, and the calculation uses first semester finals and second semester midterms. Applicants must spend their entire Grade 12 year at Lacombe Composite, take no courses through other schools and complete at least 25 credits.
