ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A $1,000 award for students going into conservation, environmental science, wildlife management or a similar field. Residents of Lacombe or Lacombe County may apply with no connection to the association at all. Everyone else needs two years of membership, their own or a parent's or grandparent's. Applicants must show active participation in conservation or outdoor initiatives.
Open to a high school senior accepted at a post-secondary institution or a student already enrolled. The association took applications online and extended the deadline to May 31.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before May 31, 2027.
