Lacombe Composite graduates entering STEM at the U of A or U of C
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

Either one award of $10,000 or two of $5,000, and by a wide margin the largest award a Lacombe Composite graduate can win. It is funded by two alumni in honour of Henri Forgues, principal of Lacombe High School from 1954 to 1974. Recipients must be entering science, technology, engineering or mathematics at the University of Alberta or the University of Calgary, and engineering is preferred.

Students entering a field of medicine are expressly not considered. Applications are in the Career Centre or linked from the LCHS scholarships page.

HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before June 5, 2027.
