Alberta students aged 17 to 25 who volunteer in the Bow Valley Credit Union service area
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A single $4,000 award from Bow Valley Credit Union for an Alberta student between 17 and 25 who is enrolled or accepted full time at a Canadian post-secondary institution and has volunteered in the credit union's service area in the past two years. You submit proof of enrolment, proof of Alberta residency, a resume, and a statement or video about your goals.
The volunteering has to be in one of the credit union's own communities: Acheson, Airdrie, Banff, Calgary, Canmore or Cochrane, and within the last two years. You do not have to bank there. Applications run June 17 to August 31, results by September 16 and money by September 30, which makes this one of the few awards that pays in time for the fall term.
