ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

Five awards of $10,000 for First Nations, Inuit and Métis students, and the one Horatio Alger stream that takes Grade 12 applicants rather than Grade 11.

Worth knowing about specifically because it breaks the Grade 11 rule that governs the rest of the Horatio Alger slate: this stream takes Grade 12 students, or CEGEP students in their final year. The academic bar is a 2.0 GPA rather than the 70 percent average the other streams ask for. You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Open across Canada.
