Worth knowing
Policy 8008 counts you as a resident if you live in Greenview, normally live there, or your parents live there, so a student who moves away to study still qualifies. Applications close June 30 each year, and you can apply again every year you stay enrolled. Council sets aside $25,000 a year for the degree stream. The policy sets a $1,500 scholarship for the trade-diploma stream. If you accept the scholarship and then do not attend, the money goes back to the municipality.
