Worth knowing

It is closed to first-year students, so a graduating Grade 12 student has to wait a year. Residency means Foothills County itself, including Blackie, Cayley, Aldersyde, Priddis, Millarville, Heritage Pointe and DeWinton, not the town of Okotoks. Anyone who has already had an Agricultural Service Board scholarship is excluded. A 500 word essay and last year's transcript are required.

About this scholarship

Foothills County's Agricultural Service Board funds two scholarships of $2,500 for county residents enrolled in the second, third or fourth year of a post-secondary programme in agronomy, animal science, agricultural business, production or mechanics, or another field advancing agriculture.

Email me when the date is posted

We send one link to confirm, then an email when a confirmed deadline is posted and reminders before it closes.
We store your address only to send these reminders, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe.
What we keep

Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. We never sell or trade it. The full privacy policy.
