ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A bursary from the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation for nurses working in, or wanting to move into, orthopedic nursing that benefits the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital and other health care providers in northwestern Alberta. The board decides how many to award each year.
You need a completed year of post-secondary study already, so this is a second-step award rather than one to apply for out of grade 12. It also requires a willingness to sign a one-year return of service agreement with Alberta Health Services, waived if the region has no need for you.
