🎓 Sarah Joan Alward Bursary

A bursary of between $1,000 and $2,500 from the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation for students in a health care field who have completed at least one year at an accredited institution, are filling an identified occupational need in northwestern Alberta, and will sign a one year return of service agreement.

The catch is the return of service agreement: taking this money commits you to a year of work in northwestern Alberta after you finish. If you were planning to come home anyway that is free money, and if you were not, read the agreement before you sign. You also need at least one year of study already completed, so this is not an award to apply for in Grade 12.
