ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Funded by the Schellenberger family in memory of Darren Schellenberger, and given to the student who best exemplifies love of life, integrity, friendship and enthusiasm. The route to it is unusual: a nomination form supported by ten graduating classmates and a teacher, after which the graduating class votes to pick the recipient from the nominees. It is decided by the people who have actually watched you for three years rather than by a committee reading forms.
This one needs a separate nomination form on top of the school's awards package, and Student Services holds it. Ten classmates and a teacher have to sign, so start collecting signatures well before the April cutoff rather than in the last week.
