Worth knowing
No closing date is published for this one. Your school handles it, not the sponsor, so ask your counsellor or the student centre for this year's date. Applicants must attend a greater St. Albert area school in their final high-school year, and Morinville senior basketball players receive priority.
About this scholarship
Open to a student in their last year at any greater St. Albert area high school, with highest priority going to students enrolled at Morinville Community High School who played on the senior basketball team there. You need verified acceptance from your chosen post-secondary school, demonstrated teamwork and leadership on the court and in the school, dedication and perseverance in your studies, and a written reference showing you are held in high regard by teachers, teammates or a coach. Students outside Morinville can apply, behind Morinville basketball players.
