ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Capital Plumbing and Heating gives $500 plus tools to a graduating student apprenticing in one of five plumbing-related trades: plumbing, refrigeration, sheet metal, gasfitting, or steamfitting and pipefitting. The tools are the part worth noticing, because a first-year apprentice buying their own kit is facing a real cost that a cash award of this size would barely cover on its own.
Memorial Composite does not asterisk this one, which in its award list means there is no separate application to file; the school selects from the students in front of it. Making sure the department knows you want it is the step that is actually available to you.
