How the Brooks Composite awards form works

Brooks Composite High School collects these applications, not the sponsors, on a Google Doc only Grasslands students can open. The handbook publishes no closing dates, so ask the BCHS office in the fall.

17 awards listed here go through it.

About this scholarship

The Brooks Kinsmen weigh two things together. The first is academic, an average for the year of at least 75%. The second is citizenship, which they break out into leadership involvement, the extent of that involvement, the quality of the work, and attitude toward school and fellow students. The award goes to whoever best demonstrates the combination, so a very strong record on one side does not carry it alone.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.

Email me when the date is posted

We send one link to confirm, then an email when a confirmed deadline is posted and reminders before it closes.
We store your address only to send these reminders, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe.
What we keep

Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. We never sell or trade it. The full privacy policy.
