ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

Funded by the district's retired teachers and aimed at a graduate of a Grasslands Regional Division high school who is registered at a post-secondary institution. The stated criteria stack: the student should already have achieved another system-wide award, and should be someone with diverse interests and talents and a record of community or extracurricular involvement. Read the first of those literally. This is written as a second award layered on a first, so it rewards a student the division has already recognised.

The handbook publishes no closing date for this award. Applications go through your Grasslands school rather than to the sponsor, and the form is a Google Doc only Grasslands students can open, so ask your school office in the fall for the date it is collecting by.
