A $1,000 award from BeamCraft Construction for a Jasper Place student showing excellence in Construction or Welding along with mentorship of other students. Teachers nominate from their advanced-level classes.
Welding qualifies as well as carpentry despite the award's name, which is easy to miss. Because teachers nominate from advanced-level classes, being the student others come to for help is what puts you on the list.
