ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Sponsored by the Dewdney Players, this $500 award goes to a graduating student enrolled in drama who exemplifies Amy Sands' personality: giving, caring, encouraging and supportive of fellow students.
The criteria say in as many words that the recipient need not be the best or most talented actor, which makes this one of the few arts awards where the audition is irrelevant and the character reference decides it.
