Airdrie Rotary Festival of Performing Arts Scholarships
The Airdrie Rotary festival attaches scholarships to its music and speech classes, awarded to competitors who take the highest mark in their class or earn at least 85 per cent. You have to live or study music in Rocky View County to be eligible, and students away at post-secondary can still qualify through a parent living in the county.
A recent festival handed out 62 scholarships worth just under $5,000 in total, so treat these as many small awards rather than one large one. Two rules decide most of it: the piece has to be memorized, and you need the top mark in your class or at least 85 per cent. The 2026 festival ran March 16 to 26; registration for the next one opens through MusicFestivalSuite and the site had not posted its dates when this was checked.
